31 Days of Halloween with kids! Halloween Spirit Jugs - Day 1

HALLOWEEN   COUNTDOWN

CRAFT PROJECT #1

Yeah!!! The Fall is here and the seasons are changing, leaves are beginning to fall and the countdown to Halloween has begun. Here at Fun and Facts for Kids we are going to be decorating every day inside and out. We will be doing small crafts daily to celebrate the season. We love the fall and we love to celebrate Halloween.

So in the spirit of Fun and Facts with Kids we will find and post fun easy crafts the kids can do.  Some of these crafts may also suit the adults as we love to craft as much as the kids, as well as crafts that are just plain fun.  So join us for our 31 days of Halloween Celebration!

Halloween Spirit Jugs
Materials
  • Clean plastic gallon milk jugs
  • Black permanent marker
  • Craft knife
  • String of 50 clear low-wattage holiday lights
 Instructions
1.  Draw ghost eyes and mouths on the jugs. Tip: Leave the caps on while you do this, so the jugs don't dent.
2.  Use the craft knife to cut a half-dollar-size hole in the back of each jug (a parent's job).
3.  Arrange the ghosts near each other and string the lights between them, stuffing several bulbs into each of the jugs.
